love, us: Simpsons Take on The Biggest Little City in the World and Tahome!

Hey everybody, we're back! Los Angeles to Reno, to Lake Tahoe, to Reno, to Carson City, to Reno, to Carson City, to Reno, to Los Angeles. It was a long 10 days but the best 10 days! A trip I will remember forever, a trip I hope the kiddos will too.

I took approximately 3,859 photos per day, and I love them all, so you are getting this blog in parts! You're welcome.

Part One - Road Trip, Tiny BFAs, and The University of Nevada

Road Trip - 517 miles, 3 pit stops, and 11 hours later, we made it to Reno! For Eleanor's first road trip ever, and Kenley's 5th road trip to date, these kids killed it. Not one single tantrum and very few "Are we there yet?"s.

Tiny BFAs - Our super amazing friends Kim and Jeremy and their sweet kiddos let us stay with them the first couple of nights! Kim and I met in college and she wanted to be my BFF, but I already had a BFF so we became BFAs (Best Friends Always). And the miniature versions of ourselves, well they are also BFAs.

Thank you for letting us stay with you! Even though Kenley pee'd in your RV when it wasn't hooked up to plumbing. If you weren't following me on Snapchat or IG stories last week, you super missed out on this hilarity!

UNR - One of the things I knew I wanted to do when we visited Reno, was visit our alma mater, the University of Nevada. Kenley is very interested in John and I's past so we were stoked to show her our old school, including the building we met in, Church Fine Arts! And the building where we met Kim, 'cause Theater Majors!

room 18 was open too! where we had our "serious" theatre classes. these kiddos could have stayed in this room all day playing "school" also, that desk Kenley is in, was my chair for most classes.

tech theater room! john and i sat right next to eachother but he never talked to me because he was part of the "cool" theater crowd. he should have though, because i was one of very few students who ever got an A in this class.
