6 Reasons a Mom Might Lose Her Starbucks Beverage in Target

Target, it's a magical place. A magical place for all. Kids, adults, moms...oh my goodness, especially moms! But they take all of your money. You go in for laundry detergent and scotch tape and leave with 23 items from the "dollar" section (which is really $1-10), a new scarf, hamburger pajama bottoms, a coffee mug that says "But First Coffee", Kindergarten prep books, fruit snacks, goldfish, Oh Joy! vases, Trolls band-aids, batteries, yoga pants, 50 percent off holiday gift wrap, and a Brit + Co planner (which you'll never use because, calendar app on your phone)

And if you are going to be there a while, buying all the things and spending all the money, you might as well splurge on a $5 soy vanilla latte at Starbucks. Whatever you do though, don't lose that Starbucks cup in the store.

For years, I would see these cups all over the store and think "Really? How rude that these people leave their cups in the aisles?! Find a freaking trashcan! You don't deserve a passion tea lemonade!" But something changed. On February 10th, 2017, I became one of those people! I know! *gasp* If you were following me on snapchat at the time, you saw the drama unfold in real time. Losing it, finding it, losing it again, finding it, leaving in the store, returning later in the day, finding it, and then losing it again. It was a VERY compelling snapchat story.

But now that it's happened to me you guys, I can no longer be a judgy Judy. These people, they aren't awful. They are me. They are moms. And if you find our Iced Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Lattes, it's likely because of one of the below reasons.

6 Reasons a Mom Might Lose Her Starbucks Beverage in Target:

1. You're in aisle 9, the Feminine Product aisle, and your kids are pulling things off the shelves asking what everything is. "Are those diapers for adults?! Do you need some of these? Do you need any of these things with strings?". Oh goodness! Puts Starbucks drink down and puts all the feminine products back.

2. You're at Target alone and see the adorable Cat & Jack display. "Oh wow, these are so fun and cheap! Kenley would love these bright colors. And I hate shirts with words but 'Future President'? Definitely getting this." Puts Starbucks drink down to buy all the cute tees.

3. You're forced to take your two small children to Target and end up in the dreaded toy aisles. Your kids are begging for LOL Surprise dolls, Hatchimals, and a squawking Hei Hei toy from "Moana". Heck no we are not getting that loud and obnoxious toy! Puts Starbucks drink down to put him, and all of his clones that are simultaneously squawking, back on the shelves.

4. You're in the "dollar" section and you see all the the things you "NEED". I need this "First day of School" board, miniature flower growing kits, patriotic sunglasses, holiday window clings, water toys for the pool, a scarf, an Elena of Avalor pencil set, and this, and this, and this. Puts Starbucks drink down to get ALL the things.

5. Your daughters are obsessed with playing Superheros & Villains and say they desperately need a Superhero t-shirt for Superhero Dance Camp. All the shirts in girl section are pink so you head to the boy section. Puts Starbucks drink down to check tags for correct size.

6. You end up in the dreaded toy aisle again with your kids because you realize you need to buy birthday gifts for the 8 people you know were born in July (hey hey winter baby making!). You decide to let your kids chose the gifts for their friends. Puts Starbucks drink down. "She loves Moana so do you want to get her a Moana costume or this squawking Hei Hei toy?" You're welcome Chris. My kids knew you would throw that toy out the window.

See what I mean? These are just 6 of 349 reasons a mom might lose her Starbucks beverage. Never judge again!
