Girlfriend, you're old. Also, you are the best. Also, I guess I have to start counting years, not months, which is pretty much the craziest to me. It boggles my mind that you have been on this planet with us for two whole years now. It seems like just YESTERDAY that you were joining our family. And we are SO happy you did. You make the days the most fun, the most bonkers, and always have us laughing. Slow down on this growing up thing a little bit though, okay?
24 Things About My 24 Month Old:
1. You love accessories and rarely leave the house without a necklace, scarf, hat, bracelet, or clip on earrings.
2. You love the beach and ask if that is where we are going EVERY day.
3. You can count to twelve.
4. You are the best two year old singer in the west. Maybe that isn't entirely true but you are pretty good. And also love to riff.
5. You love babies. Your favorite baby is baby Jack. Additionally, you don't like kids.
6. You use both first and third person when talking about yourself. Ie: "Me. El-nor. Go beach!"
7. You are a book lover. Some favorites include "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom", "The Pout Pout Fish", and all of the Duck & Goose books.
8. Your favorite songs are "Cake by the Ocean" (DNCE), "Can't Stop the Feeling" (Justin Timberlake), "Happy" (Pharrell), "Party in the U.S.A." (Miley Cyrus), and "Me Too" (Meghan Trainor).
9. You preface everything with "Ready, set, go!". Before eating, putting on a hat, getting in the bath, etc.
10. You are a carnivore. There is no meat you do not love. You also love mangos, watermelons, bell peppers, grapes, popcorn, oranges, granola bars, edamame, rice and "dips" (guacamole, ketchup, and hot sauce - yes, hot sauce).
11. You do not like dogs.
12. You call Kenley "Ken Ken".
13. Your nicknames are "Elle", "Elle Belle", "Ella", "Ellie", "E", and my personal favorite "Baby Giant" (given to you by your big sister).
14. You still nurse.
15. You are scared of dinosaurs and aliens.
16. Your favorite colors are purple and yellow.
17. You play well with your sister 80% of the time. We love to hear your conversations which pretty much consist of Kenley asking you questions and you saying "Yeah!".
18. You love finger family videos. I do not like finger family videos.
20. Your favorite things to play are kitchen, puzzles, trains, legos, robots, twister, bingo, barbies, princesses, stickers, Charlie Brown, dress up, or... anything Kenley is playing.
21. You love cleaning and "helping" with dishes.
