Eight Days With Daddy

Sometimes Daddy has to work a lot and we don't get to see him much. It's the pits. And now that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is open (it's so magical people! - see HERE), he can be extra busy. Luckily, he was able to get a little time off and we got TWO 4 day weekends in a row with him! We didn't do anything extravagant but instead, had him along for what "normal" weekdays look like for me and the girls (ie: storytime, soccer, etc.). It probably sounds boring to most, but it was really special for our family. One of daddy's love languages is quality time and I think we did JUST that.

Here are one million photos of our eight days with Daddy:

Storytime with Daddy!

Alligator crafts with Daddy!

Neighborhood walks to get ice cream with Daddy!

Found a local theater company doing The Fantasticks on our walk - this is K pretending to be a mime (I played The Mute in the show over a decade ago)

Ice cream BEFORE dinner! On a Thursday!

Sharing with E. She is pretty much the worst at sharing. No really, K was never like this. Help.

Soccer with Daddy!

I can't with this new pose of hers.

E joining in on the action!

Go K! She just keeps getting more comfortable with the ball. So proud.
Magical door at the Huntington Library, Art Collection, and Botanical Gardens.

E loves the tunnels.

Playing with the magnetic sand. It's the best! For adults too.

There is that pose again!

Same pose in a squatting position.

She comes for the mist!

Hopscotch - it's kind of the funniest watching her try.

Chinese Gardens! These are my most favorite. Zero photos do them justice.

Fun to have daddy along to do things like this.

My little mini!

I swear they love me. (E's face!)

See?

My child bearing hips trying to fit on this chair with the children I bore.

Realized we should probably get a photo of just us! Not pictured - E whining for snacks and K almost falling in the pond)

Cranky E because I wouldn't change her diaper ON the flowers.

Family photo at the gardens. K slays this photo.

More soccer! It takes K a little while to warm up.

Drills!

Daddy snuggles after soccer.

The love. (at my birthday breakfast)

Tiny chef loves daddy!

My People. Thank you to another mom who saw us snacking after soccer and thought to take a picture!
